NEWS:

DUE TO THE ABSOLUTE CHAOS IN OUR SCHEDULE, THE NEWS HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN QUITE SOME TIME.
BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE HAVEN'T BEEN BUSTING OUR ASSES! PLEASE CHECK IN WITH US ON FACEBOOK:

As many of you who follow what we do already know, we have been distributing albums for some of our friend's bands who are not on the label. Bands like Flesh Engine and I Am The Trireme, who we've known for awhile and want to help make their music more available to the outside world. When we first started doing this we had so few releases of our own that the above mentioned band's releases recieved BOCR catalog numbers as well. Now, as we continue to grow and are asked to carry more releases from non-label bands, some changes had to be made to the way we did things. Coming in the the very near future we will have a distro page that will include every album we have available, both label and non-label releases. We aren't getting rid of the current store page, to allow for quick access of label only releases and other merchandise, nor are we going to remove the non-label releases that have already recieved a catalog number from the store page. But, very soon you will find a much more extended distro page, in hopes of serving all of your metal needs, even when the band isn't on our label.

Machines Of Penalty have announced that longtime front man Matt Fox has left the band. After completing their search for a new singer, lead guitarist Mike Collins has annouced Angel as the new voice of the band. According to Collins, Angel is a great fit with the band both musically and in personality. Machines Of Penalty is currently in the studio working on their follow-up to 2009's "Sick of it All" full-length album.

February 18-19, 2012
March To Victory participated in two back-to-back appearances opening for Death Metal legends Suffocation. After the recent opening slot back in December when Suffocation came through Reading, PA March To Victory were asked to support Suffocation on their only East Coast shows before leaving the U.S. for their Canadian and European tours. The first gig took place at March To Victory strong hold Jimmy's Place in Allentown, PA. While being over 2 hours from the band's hometown, Allentown has always proven to be a great location for March To Victory shows and this was no exception. The crowd's fury served to increase Suffocation's interest and by Sunday's gig in Fredrick, MD the New York legends were watching intently, even commenting on the different songs played from night to night. Hopefully this new appreciation from bands like Suffocation and Immolation as well as  upcoming mini-tours with Jungle Rot  and Origin, Decepit Birth and Cattle Decapitation will serve to increase awareness of March To Victory well beyond their current fan base. Check this out for a review of the Jimmy's Show.

The Silo, Reading PA is the setting for one great metal show. The event is Sandraudiga's CD release party, the CD itself "The Hollow Nation" offically coming out Feb 7th for the rest of the metal world, fans could get their advanced copy tonight. The show started with 3 local metal bands, no doubt hoping to get noticed by our ever watchful eyes, the most notable being No Remorse for the Fallen, who is also the most well known of the bands that also included From These Wounds and Lies of a Murderer. After this, the show turns into a label showcase, starting off with the newest addition to Born of Chaos Records, Chinga! blasting us with their sludgy Grind infused Thrash attack. They played tunes that will be released next month on their debut album "Relentless Culinary Assault" which will be a delight for fans of Napalm Death, Jungle Rot, S.O.D. and of course our own Lead Farmer. Next up, our non-stop touring monsters March To Victory. I don't know if a news article can be written without their mention right now. Crushing set, moshing mayhem and stage-diving has become the norm for the Lancaster, PA veterans and their upcoming live CD "Frostburg Live in Rochester, NY" captures it all perfectly. A great album for those of you who want to hear the "Frostburg 666" tunes with current March To Victory vocalist Freak instead of old vocalist Larry. Three great covers are included as well. Finally, the evening truly did belong to Sandraudiga. In their first ever headlining appearance, the Psychedelic Metallers pulled off their entire debut album flawlessly, even introducing a brand new track that will eventually be on a new recording. Hats off boys, these days even some national acts hesitate in following March To Victory and for your first headlining gig, top notch!

January 2, 2012

Every band has to come home and every band has to remember to be humble. But it usually doesn't have to happen at the same time. March To Victory, who has been destroying venues all over the region where finally granted a slot at Lancaster, PA's renouned Chameleon Club. A venue known for being a hotspot to national acts travelling through the region. While glad to get their foot in the door, March To Victory was disappointed to learn that they were booked to be openers for a bunch of local indie rock bands (with the exception of our old friends RearView Destroyer). What's worse is that an hour before the show the set time was bumped up 1/2 hour and they were basically cut to a 15 minute set with several fans missing the show. We assume the venue hadn't counted on March To Victory or their fans, cuz there were at least 50 of the band's T-Shirts in the crowd and the same madness from fans that we have come to expect, people flying everywhere, crazed wall-to-wall moshing and chanting one more song until the band had completely broken down all of it's gear. The Chameleon has vowed to make it up to the boys at a future date.

December 16, 2011
Now we all know how tough the road is and that touring bands do have it hard, but they also need to step up to the plate. South America's Inquisition found this out the hard way when they weren't prepared to follow a honed to perfection March To Victory who was asked to co-headline the 8 band show. March To Victory owned the crowd in everyway, earning crowd surfing, stage diving and a set long mosh pit, while the promoter earned a verbal lashing from Inquisition's tour manager for putting the Lancaster boys on before the Black Metal veterans' set. The promoter's response... "Well your band better play good then!"

December 10, 2011
Anticosm headlines the NYDM sponsored December to Dismember at Popeye's Pub in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

March To Victory takes place in the brutal Horror for the Holidays at the Reverb in Reading, PA with death metal legends Suffocation along with Revocation, Black Anvil and Reading favorites Divination.

December 3, 2011
EYEHATEGOD came to Allentown, PA for their only Pennsylvania tour date. Along with our own Chinga! we saw performances from Buzzherd and Limb By Limb in one heavy smokehazed evening. Jimmy's Place was packed to capacity and the crowd was insane! For a taste of what you missed go here.

November 12, 2011
It looks like Anticosm and March To Victory are duelling it out for who plays the most shows to end the year. Anticosm invades Trenton, NJ at Championships with Blind Man's Fate, Chorea and Kill The Stigmatic, while March To Victory destroyed an unsuspecting new crowd at The Bogside Pub in Philly with Prosper or Perish and Antikytheria.

"The Wreckoning" Anticosm's hottly anticipated new EP released today! Featuring a stunning Thrash attack with Blackened overtones and a awesome cover of Van Halen's "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love", "The Wreckoning" is sure to please even the pickiest of metalheads. Get your copy here

Sandraudiga have entered the studio. They will be working with Carson Slovak (August Burns Red, Lead Farmer) at Atrium Audio looking for an early 2012 release.

October 28, 2011
The weekend before Halloween is a busy one. Two events today and a new member of the family.

In Howell, NJ outside of the Southard Grange, Anticosm headlines their long awaited CD release party. The show was pushed outside because the town wanted to use the Grange for a kids Haunted House. The outside show pushed both Woe (the intended headliner) and Immolith to drop off the bill, leaving Anticosm, our old friends I Am The Trireme, and Beastial Disfigurment as well as a last minute add on of Grim Legion for this gig. Of course no little kiddies came to the Haunted House, but the metalheads came out in force and the show was a destructive success, until of course the police came about 4 or 5 songs into Anticosm's set and forced an immediate close to the evenings live music. The police have never been known to be easy going on our kind.

March To Victory on the other hand did not get shut down. They played The Burners in Bethlehiem, PA as the only Metal band lumped in with 9 Hardcore bands. While metal and hardcore fans don't hate each other the way they did in the 80's due in no small part to the success of Thrash and Crossover bands or the era, March To Victory found themselves in a rare situation of having to prove themselves to a crowd who'd never heard of them in a town they play often. What happened during the set was similar if less dramatic, to the scene in Rocky 4 where the obvious long-haired metal band begins playing to a very disinterested strictly hardcore crowd. Most had fallen back to the bar or were leaning against the wall, arms crossed as if daring the metal band to do something impressive. By the end of the 1st song heads had turned and began paying more attention and before the end of the set March To Victory were seeing something more familiar, a moshing crowd, cheering and eating up their Extreme Metal!

Lehigh Valley, PA's Thrash/Grinders Chinga! (all you spanish speakers can fill everyone else in on the joke here) have joined the Born Of Chaos Records. The band is already about halfway finished with recording their debut album "Relentless Culinary Assault" and we'll be looking for that release to hit sometime late winter/early spring 2012. Welcome to the family!

October 22, 2011
Anticosm headlines Grimstock 2011 @ The Brick Moose Lodge featuring Bil-Doe & the Reacharounds, No Lessons Learned, Faceless Hatred, Polemic Shock, Population Zero and ASD.

October 6, 2011
March To Victory once again proving that they are the big dogs of this Greater Philly metal scene were asked to be the only local opening act at Reverb's in Reading, PA when Immolation came to town, bringing the mighty Jungle Rot and Gigan with them. March To Victory's performance was so impressive that Ross Dolan, Immolation's iconic singer paused their set to turn the house lights onto the Lancaster boys in a show of appreciation of their set and later told March To Victory that they are one of the best bands Immolation has ever played with.

October 2, 2011
Label newcomers Sandraudiga prove that they have what it takes at Mojo 13 with No Warning Shots. After signing to Born Of Chaos Records mid-last month, Sandraudiga have been playing like a band possesed, honing their sound for their Halloween assault on Atrium Audio in Lancaster, PA. They've changed their logo and now they are ready for war!

October 1, 2011
Though we had no official reason to be there other than being supporters of local music, Born Of Chaos Records attended OMG Fest at the Rusty Nail in Ardmore, PA featuring: No Remorse For The Fallen, Beyond Dishonor, Minutia, Another Vendetta, Ovlo, Throdl, The Dawn Of Apollyon, Apocryfiend, Chinga!, Chorea, and Dark Waters End. It's always nice to see a show and have no responsibilities other than rocking the fuck out! All of these bands did a great job and who knows maybe one or two will end up joining our family soon. (Hint, one of them definitly will, any guesses?)

September 30, 2011
March To Victory headlines Deciples Of the Sword gig in Howell, NJ. Kenneth Burdge III has been booking shows at the Southard Grange in Howell for quite some time now. Providing bands from Northeast NJ a place to play and an all ages crowd a home to see killer underground metal. Horns to you brother \m/

September 23, 2011
March To Victory returns to the Sterling Hotel to perform a crushing show with Death/Grind legends Mortician! If you haven't made it to one of the Sterling rebirth shows yet, what the fuck are you waiting for? Killer metal bands courtesy of BIZ R ENT and yours truly Born Of Chaos Records!

September 16, 2011
Please help us welcome our newest Born Of Chaos Records family members Sandraudiga!!! What is a Sandraudiga you may be asking yourself. It's a killer band that blends pure death metal aggression with the mood and atmosphere of Tool and the Psycedelic twists of Pink Floyd. Intrested? So are we! They are heading into the studio October 31st to start recording their debut album. Keep your eyes and ears open!

September 9, 2011
Braving flooding along the Susquahanna River Mach To Victory trekked up to Rochester NY to be the only non-local band to be featured on Oz's Birthday Thrash. The man himself came up and headbanged with the boys throughout their entire set and drunkeness was had by all.

September 2, 2011
Grave, Bloodred Throne, Gigan, March To Victory, I Am The Trireme and Death Sick in Trenton NJ! What else can I say? This show brutalized. One fan was quoted as saying that he knew what kind of show it was gonna be when as he walked up to the building bodies were being wheeled out into an ambulance. No ones performance fell short that night, it killed across the board!\

August 23, 2011
I just mentioned that March To Victory seems to be everywhere right now, well here they are 4 days after the label showcase introducting themselves to the Reverb in reading PA. It was a Tuesday night show with Victory Records Artists Blackguard.  I have spoken about the M2V performances often and being they are on our label you might be tempted to suspect exaggeration. The promoter enjoyed them so much that based on that single performance March To Victory was booked to play with Immolation in October, Suffocation in December and Satyricon in Feburary. Exaggeration? I think not!

August 19, 2011
We decided to do a label showcase show @ The Maple Inn in Honeybrook PA. A very cool venue with a great metal loving staff and crowd. If you recognize the name,  Lead Farmer, March To Victory, new label mates Machines Of Penalty, as well as old friends Blood Of Isis, Lethean, RearView Destroyer and Ques Dio have all rocked the place in the past few months. Tonight was no different other than we kept the number of bands to 3 so everyone could play as long as they wanted. Starting off the evening was Parkesburg PA's Real Ugly. Our 1st show being involved with the Grindcore veterans, but it won't be the last time you hear their name coming from us. They played as a Grind 2 piece should play, fast, noisy, and chaotic. Following up was Howell NJ's Anticosm. They signed with us a few months ago and are currently working on recording their BOCR debut "The Wreckoning." They desplayed a beautiful blackened thrash performance as we have come to expect from them. The evening was closed out with March To Victroy, the band that seems to be everywhere right now, playing all shows big and small and destroying everything in their wake. It was a successful evening of full-blown METAL and everyone left with smiles on their faces and a buzz in their brains.

August 7, 2011
Born Of Chaos Records is proud to announce the addition of Machines Of Penalty to our metal family. These South Jersey / Philly boys have been tearing it up for quite some time now. After our label bands have played several shows with these guys, we felt it was time to bring them in to the fold. They are very talented musicians and bring a new element to BOCR. They are working on new material and will be heading into the studio shortly. For now, if you need your Machines Of Penalty fix you can get their 2009 release "Sick Of It All" right here

August 5, 2011
March To Victory destroys The Grand Fromage in Atlantic City! As is the norm when the Lancaster PA Blackened Death Metal masters take the stage, bands and fans alike stopped whatever they were doing during this city-wide festival and showed March To Victory true support and love with aggressive moshing and head banging. Another stand-out band of the evening was South Jersey's MeatPlow. Great name, great band and someone we are sure to keep our eyes on in the future!

July 30, 2011
The RearView Destroyer summer band party was awesome!!! There were some great bands, a lot of fun, Lead Farmer as promised payed a bunch of new material that will be seen on their next album and the cops came to break-up the event at the end of the night. Fortunately we decided to crash out in a field near the barn and didn't have to deal with any sobriety check-points or anything like that. Remember, always have fun, but the man is out there and looking for you!

July 26, 2011
While Lead Farmer has been taking the past few months off of performing live to write material for their upcoming album, which will see them in the studio in the end of August, they are playing RearView Destroyer's summer barn party July 30th in Manhiem PA to try out some of their new material on fans. We look forward to seeing them destroying the stage once again and so should you!

July 22, 2011
Continuing their bid for world domination March To Victory helped welcome Allentown's Sterling Hotel back to the metal scene performing with good friends and old-school death metal veterans Sapremia from NJ and death metal giants Vital Remains in what proved to be one of the best death metal shows I've seen in a long time!

July 10, 2011

Welcoming home March To Victory in style Born Of Chaos Records and MHB Radio put together one hell of a killer show for the boys at The Maple Inn in Honeybrook PA!

June 19, 2011
March To Victory has just returned home from a very successful southern tour.  This leg saw them destroy Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas TX, Panama City FL before returning to Harrisburg PA. The guys made alot of new fans and saw Ozzy's urine stain on the Alamo. While we were all disappointed the Amarillo TX had to be cancelled, the event as a whole was fantastic!

June 7, 2011
A whole month with out any updates equals a very busy month indeed. As you have seen on our home page March To Victory is on U.S. Tour and in June it really heats up as they head down south. Be sure and check the shows page for any and all updates on their tour as well as everyone else's shows. We also launched our 1st ever newsletter last week. If any of you out there want the newsletter and haven't gotten one be sure and write us on the contact page and leave your address and we'll send one out. Lead Farmer has booked studio time to record the follow-up to "Born to Grind" and we cannot wait for that! We have had some meetings with some bands who shall remain nameless until paperwork is signed and we may just swallow another record label whole in the upcoming months taking their entire roster. We'll keep you posted.

May 7, 2011
We would like to announce that Howell, NJ's Anticosm has just signed with Born Of Chaos Records we will be carrying their 2009 LP "Against the Cosmos" as well as releasing their upcoming EP this summer.

April 14, 2011
This is one of those night's where the entire show kicked ass. The evening opened with our good friends I Am The Trireme from Philly, a young and diverse band that implements so many different styles of metal that I don't even know what to call them. March To Victory crushed as always, whipping the crowd up into a moshing frenzie. We made new friends with Carrion Earth, with a solid metal/hardcore mix and were devastated by old friends Death Sick! Immolith's corpse painted black metal performance was punctuated by dragging, chaining, torturing and the on stage killing of our friend and fetish model Gwendolyn Eve Hill. Check her out alive and well at www.GwendolynEveHill.com you won't be disappointed, 18+ please. The night belonged of course to Poland's Hate. These guys crushed the stage, their music and stage presence  demanded respect from all in attendance and the crowd in return demanded Hate return to the stage after their set for a well deserved encore. I for one was extremely happy to be in attendance that night.

March 12, 2011
When fans say every show is better than the last that means your are doing something right. That was once again the case for March To Victory @ this year's March Metal Massacare. We have seen consistantly amazing performances from these guys which has earned them quite a reputation and some are even calling them the best band around. What do you think?  This Massacare had a very solid line-up with several veteran bands yet March To Victory commanded the only mosh pit of the evening, and who started it? Members of other bands. If that doesn't speak volumes about these guys, nothing will.

March 9, 2011
Continuing their recent increase in media attention March to Victory appeared on MHB Radio out of Lancaster, PA. The live broadcast was from 7 - 10:30 p.m. and also featured the new album played in it's entirety. The interview featured question answer sessions and some general chaos. Much thanks to the Rev. for a fun show and the beer!

March 5, 2011
Lead Farmer absolutely annihilated the Maple Inn in Honeybrook, PA for the Death Comes Knocking show! D.C.K. also featured good friends Lethean and Blood of Isis, both of whom are currently recording their respective upcoming albums. There was a no-show from Harrisburg's Gunn For Hire and a last minute replacement for local Draped in Shadows, whose guitar player broke his arm days before the show. The show was great and the no-shows weren't missed as everyone else crushed the stage with their own takes on extreme metal. With an open invitation from the new owner of the Maple Inn to return anytime, I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of Born of Chaos Records events held at this cool venue.

February 26, 2011

March to Victory invaded the Park City Mall Hot Topic! As we mentioned a few days ago, the meet and greet went from 7 - 8:30 and featured photo ops, signings as-well-as an in-store listening party.

February 19, 2011
Born of Chaos Records, along with PiggIron Sound and DJ ThatGuy put together a fundraiser to help Brian Sauselen and family.  Brian was hospitalized early in February when his pancreas burst, causing his kidneys to fail sending Brian into a life threatening condition. On top of this already trying time for the family Brian and his wife have 3 children at home with a fourth due in April. To add insult to injury Brian's wife was recently laid-off and the sump pump in their basement quit, leaving 8 inches of water. Brian is not expected to get out of the hospital for a couple months but is fortunately making small steps in the right direction. The benifit was thrown together in less than 2 weeks and was held at the Coatesville, PA Moose Lodge. It was a multi-genre event with headliners Lead Farmer being the only extreme metal act and hard rockers Rayleigh Scattering bridging the gap from the earlier mellow performances. When the event drew to a close and all the bills were paid, we raised over $5,000 for the Sauselen family.

February 13, 2011

March to Victory appears on Philly's 191 Live broadcast. To see pieces from that event you can search 191 Philly Bands on Youtube.

February 12, 2011
March to Victory headlines the Rusty Nail in Ardmore, PA following  an HMG photoshoot featuring the Lead Farmer Girls for "A Year In Metal" heavy metal promotional calandar. If you missed this show, well what can I say... You missed the wrong fucking show!!!

January 22, 2011

Lead Farmer and Blood of Isis set the record for number of people at the Attic Lounge in Sadsburyville, PA! If you missed the first show there, or just plain couldn't get in, Lead Farmer is playing the Attic again May 14th @ 9p.m. This time with old friends Atrophia.

December 15, 2010
As the anticipation builds we are happy to announce that March to Victory's new album "Frostburg 666" will be available for purchase 02-22-11. It will be available here, from major online distro such as Amazon, Napster, iTunes etc. For a complete list send us a message. December 4, 2010

As you can probably guess, the Mortician show was fucking awesome!!! Mortician gave the fans exactly what they wanted with an extremely brutal and flawless performance. The only downside to the show was Lead Farmer performed bassless as Barry had an incident enroute to the show, but for a band rooted so solidly in bass, they pulled it off beautifully.  March to Victory delivered a very powerful performance earning praise from fans and bands alike and Freak proved that singing for 2 bands in one night was no big deal for the metal madman. Since The Fire and Decaysia, 2 bands we have seen some powerful performances from recently did not disappoint and both have earned the attention of the Born Of Chaos staff. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of them very soon.

November 1, 2010
Well, the rumors were true, though the location has changed.  Earlier we had reported the possibility that Lead Farmer and March to Victory (both currently fronted by Freak) would be opening up for Death/Grind giants Mortician. The show will take place December 4th at the Garfield Hotel in Northhampton, P.A. Tickets are only $12 and you don't want to miss this one!!! Contact us here for ticket information.

October 16, 2010

HMG Fundraiser II took place with a few hitches. Mainly being the venue changing the event to a 21+ show 2 days before the event. To do that to a foundation who is trying to help children days before the event is just plain low. It just shows another example of society looking down on metal, even when it's for a good cause. Several bands spent the days before the event refunding fans who planned to attend. That being said, the event wasn't a loss. We experianced fantastic performances throughout the night, as well as more onsite tattooing and custom shirts done by the Airbrush Assassins. We look forward to the next opportunity to help HMG, but this time rest assured we will not be using any lame venue!

October 11, 2010
Born Of Chaos Records is teaming up with Blood Of Isis to release their debut album. The album, which has yet to be named will tentatively be released next spring.

October 2, 2010
In the true spirt of Heavy Metal brotherhood Lead Farmer vocalist Freak stepped in and performed vocal duties for labelmates March To Victory in their appearance opening up for Singapore's Grindcore giants Wormrot. March To Victory's vocalist Larry, is on a six month Sabbatical and Freak will be pulling double duty until he returns. We're excited at the rumor that both Lead Farmer and March To Victory will be opening for Mortician in December at the Silo in Reading P.A. Keep your eyes and ears open for that landmark show.

Born Of Chaos Records sponsors the HMG Concert Fundraiser. A show that raised money to help keep music and sports programs in public schools in Delaware Co. P.A. Bands involved at the event were our own Lead Farmer, along with Blood Of Isis and Lethean (both of whom we expect to be working with very soon), Romantic Violence, Machines Of Penalty, Pool Of Thorns and Rayleigh Scattering. The entire event was a huge success despite the several noise complaints (which we loved!) and we look forward to the next one which is tenatively scheduled for September 18th at a better location!

coincides it's first release, Lead Farmer's "Noise Pollution From The Basement" with Lead Farmer's first live performance and the first show we as a label ever organized. This was our first opportunity to work with Sutter Cane, March To Victory, Atrophia and Kill The Evidence, all of which proved to be amazing bands! The show, titled Show Us Your Cans, was a free admission show with canned food donations at the door. Lead Farmer and Born Of Chaos Records raised 320lbs of food to be donated to the Chester Co. Food Bank.
